All Summer Camps Are Week-Long, Monday - Friday
Sign up for morning camp or afternoon camp or put them together for a full day.
Book Creation Camps are full day camps and may not be divided into half day camps.
Partial weeks become available 72 hours before the camp week, pending availability.

1 camper - multiple weeks - $225 per week, per same type of half-day camp

Christ Church - Classroom Building - Southern Village
In this week-long full-day camp children will learn how to write and illustrate their very own books, cover to cover!
Julie Salinas and Kathryn Rubish, both fantastic local elementary school teachers, will guide kids through engaging writing lessons to help campers get their ideas on paper. They’ll also incorporate fun themed activities and games. Miss Kim, ArtzHub’s Artist and Founder, will guide kids through each day’s illustration and incorporate a cool crafts to round out the book making experience. Gardening Camp
Green Thumb Garden Gurus
McDougle Elementary School - West Chapel Hill
This week-long half-day morning camp is for children that enjoy gardening. Those that want to cultivate their love and appreciation of the natural world will find this hands-on experience blooming with fun opportunities for earthy kids to plant and to nurture existing vegetable and flower plants in the McDougle Elementary courtyard. Campers will also enjoy a sense of exploration as they learn about the vast ecosystem that can exist in a small garden. Nature related arts and crafts activities will round out each day. Outdoor activities will be time-limited with plenty of opportunity to go inside, cool off and hydrate. We will have art and garden related activities indoors for about 50% of the time or more if the heat index is too high.

Afternoon Arts & Crafts Camp
Alice In Wonderland
McDougle Elementary School - West Chapel Hill
This week-long half-day afternoon camp will provide creative kids with 5 days of learning how to draw beloved characters and creatures inspired by the 1951 Disney classic movie step-by-step with Ms. Kim! Her signature style of teaching art offers structure and encourages interpretation in a relaxed way to foster problem solving as well as artistic license. Campers will learn to use a variety of media such as oil pastel, colored pencils, watercolor paint, markers and chalk pastel to finish their drawings. Additionally, the craft projects will be constructed with all sorts of fun materials to make interesting creations - curiouser and curiouser! - full of practical & fantastical whimsy. :-)

Painting On Canvas 1
Inspirational Horses
Chatham Grove Community Center - Briar Chapel
This week-long half-day morning camp is a delightful deep dive for all experience levels into painting in acrylic on canvas. Ms. Evy’s campers will enjoy learning to paint with the guided expertise of a teacher that has decades of experience teaching children how to paint and draw. Over the course of the week, children will sketch out and paint their masterpiece on canvas boards and stretched canvas and with mixed media materials. We'll use texture mediums, fabric, acrylic colors and visuals to paint inspired horses. Fun theme oriented crafts and group games will round out their afternoons. Each day is divided into kid-friendly segments that fold in plenty of time on the playground, too.

This week-long half-day afternoon camp will provide creative kids with 5 days of learning how to draw their favorite animal - the noble horse! - in a multitude of ways step-by-step with Ms. Kim. Her signature style of teaching art offers structure and encourages interpretation in a relaxed way to foster problem solving as well as artistic license. Campers will learn to use a variety of media such as oil pastel, colored pencils, watercolor paint, markers and chalk pastel to finish their drawings. Additionally, the craft projects will be made with all sorts of fun materials to make interesting equine focused creations full of practical whimsy! Your creative kid will think they’re in horse heaven!
CGCC is a new location for ArtzHub. Located just 12 minutes south of Southern Village…it is a beautiful, new facility with amazing ammenities. We’ll have a massive studio space filled with abundant natural light and so much room to spread out for the entire week. The playground is fantastic, too!

This week-long half-day afternoon camp will provide creative kids with 5 days of learning how to draw all kinds of wild and fascinating creatures, landmarks and art forms only seen Down Under step-by-step with Ms. Kim. No passport required! Her signature style of teaching art offers structure and encourages interpretation in a relaxed way to foster problem solving as well as artistic license. Campers will learn to use a variety of media such as oil pastel, colored pencils, watercolor paint, markers and chalk pastel to finish their drawings. Additionally, the craft projects will be made with all sorts of fun materials to make interesting Australian creations full of practical whimsy!

Music camp
Music & Acting camp
Christ Church- Ascension Hall - Southern Village
This week-long half-day morning camp is a wonderful opportunity for kids to create music together and explore acting with the guided expertise of Dr. Daniel Steinert, Christ Church’s Director of Music - AKA, Dr. Dan the Music Man! No previous experience is necessary for campers to enjoy learning about layering sounds and movement in a fun and energetic way while they learn to experience the power of music! Group games and an introduction to various instruments will keep kids engaged as they prepare for the week's crescendo - a lunch-hour performance on Friday open to family & friends! Each day is divided into kid-friendly segments that fold in plenty of time on the playground, too.
The music will cover a wide variety of genres from Bach to Broadway. Children will be able to sing, ring, or play percussion instruments at age-appropriate levels. All musical instruments, printed music, and supplies are provided.

Dog Days OF Summer
Christ Church - Classroom Building - Southern Village
This week-long half-day afternoon camp will provide creative kids with 5 days of learning how to draw dogs of all shapes and sizes step-by-step with Ms. Kim while staying cool indoors! Her signature style of teaching art offers structure and encourages interpretation in a relaxed way to foster problem solving as well as artistic license. Campers will learn to use a variety of media such as oil pastel, colored pencils, watercolor paint, markers and chalk pastel to finish their drawings. Additionally, the craft projects will be made with all sorts of fun materials to make interesting and useful dog related creations full of practical whimsy! Your dog lover is sure to have a howlin’ good time before school starts again. :-)
