FUN! Afternoon TWD Camps

1:00-5:00 - 2/9, 2/17, 3/3 and 3/20

Now in it’s 3rd year of operating an Afterschool Program for kids ages 5-11, Christ Church is adding afternoon teacher work day camps in a coordinated effort with us to offer our respective families half and full day camp options! We are so excited to combine our camps for those that need full day!

These winter/spring dates are just the beginning. Going forward, we’ll offer half and full day camp options from September to May.

TWD camp dates for the coming school year are available and open for enrollment on August 1st annually. Join our mailing list!

Afternoon campers will be encouraged to let their imaginations soar while learning about the world and people around them. Virtual tours of national parks, live chats with rangers, science, music, crafts, games, fine art exploration as well as a fully functional library for quiet times. There may be pool noodles and popcorn dance parties, too!

Camp Leaders are Pastor Lee Barnes and Afterschool Director Steve Case. (Read Their Bios) They have decades of experience working with children and together they will manage the camp activities as well as oversee camp assistants.

To honor Christ Church’s “Safer Sanctuary” policy, the ratio of two non-related trained staff for each 5 children is strictly adhered to. Therefore, pending sufficient enrollment, there will be assistants on standby ready to work with the children. These assistants are all “Safer Sanctuary” trained and will be comprised of CC staff members as well as staff members from CC’s After School Program.

A Note From Christ United Methodist Church

WE ARE ONE TABLE. Yes, we are a United Methodist Church but we have a variety of faiths and beliefs among our students. To that end we do learn and study and celebrate with Yom Kippur, Diwali, The Feast of St Francis, Ramadan as well as Christmas and Hanukkah.
