about us

Kim McCullough

ArtzHub Artist/ Founder - Kim McCullough earned her BFA at Buffalo State College in 1999. She moved to NC in 2000 and soon after landed a pivotal job that aligned with her degree and desire to be an art educator. Since that fateful time, Kim has dedicated her life to teaching art to creative kids ages 5-85. She was fortunate to learn entrepreneurial & business management skills from her gifted & generous employers/mentors and launched her own business in 2007.

The simple, profound idea that drawing is a teachable skill is gently reinforced through her proven step-by-step method of teaching in every art making experience. Many things have changed dramatically for us culturally over the last 25 years but Kim remains steadfast in her core belief - there are no mistakes in art! Teaching kids to be resilient & compassionate creative problem solvers is more important than ever.

Amanda Brady

Amanda is a dual language elementary school teacher at Frank Porter Graham Bilingüe. She earned her Bachelor of Science in World Language Education and Bachelor of Arts in Spanish from the University of Georgia in 2013 right before moving to Chapel Hill. Her love of language, teaching and art have led her to combine her talents and passions as an ArtzHub art instructor.

Amanda teaches our weekly after school art classes at FPG in Spanish.

Ianary Guteirrez

Ianary is a dual language elementary school TA at Frank Porter Graham Bilingüe. She’s an assistant for us, too, in our weekly after school art classes at the same school. She works with our lead instructors to help them manage the class so that it runs smoothly for all involved. Ianary is delightful and warm hearted. We’re grateful to have her help!

Susan Richards

Susan is now a seasoned ArtzHub instructor and we’re thrilled to have her on our team. With over 30 years of experience working with children in a variety of settings, she’s a dedicated and accomplished educator as well as a certified Art Therapist. Her gentle approach, kind personality and artistic skills are a wonderful combination that we’e proud to offer to our families.

Susan teaches weekly after school art classes at EHES, EES and MGE.

Pat Christie

Pat is a retired Montessori school teacher that assists ArtzHub art instructors when and where needed. Her flexible availability, lively personality and wealth of experience working with children in a supportive setting is deeply appreciated!

Lien Bradford

A native of Vietnam, Lien leveraged her degree in Foreign Trade and Management with her experience on the job establishing ceramics factories in her home country to springboard forward into her own entrepreneurial enterprise. She founded and operated her own business that imported ceramic elements from Italy, Spain and France and supplied them to ceramic tile factories in Vietnam. In 2009, she moved to the US and worked with her husband in his law practice and raise their children.

Lien is now a trained camp assistant instructor and also assists in our weekly after school art classes at multiple locations. She’s personally discovered the joy of learning to draw step-by-step and can vouch for our mantra - there are no mistakes in art!

Lucy Henley

Many of your children have worked with Lucy at our teacher work day art camps and know what a wonderful instructor she is. If your child does not know her yet, she is a fantastic young woman that is living proof of ArtzHub's commitment to continuity and excellence.

Lucy started out as an after school art student at MGE over a decade ago. She also participated in my art camps and eventually became a tween mentor. She later joined the ArtzHub team as a paid teen camp assistant. She's now at UNC and is excited to teach after school art class at GES starting in September 2025.

As her teacher, mentor, role model and now employer - I could not be more proud of her accomplishments and I'm beyond thrilled to have her work with a new generation of kids to help them connect with their inner artist and develop creative problem solving skills.
