Payment - Booking Fee

The booking fee payment is required to guarantee the party date/time, at the time the party is scheduled.

The amount of the booking fee depends on the type of party you are reserving.

The booking fee may be paid by credit card on our website via a private party payment link (that we create and provide to you) OR by a check that you mail to us.

Payment - Additional Guests

Additional guests may be added, up to the maximum allowed per type of party, for $25 or $35 per person, depending on the type of party you have booked.

Guests may pay by credit card on our website via a private party payment link (that we create and you email to your guests) OR by a check that guests mail to PO BOX 3028, Chapel Hill, NC 27515.

Guests are expected to pay before the scheduled party date.

However, if the party is not full, and last minute guests would like to join us on the date of the party, they can either pay online OR bring a check OR bring (exact) cash to the party to pay us in person.

Party Set Up and Party Clean Up

I will arrive approximately 30 minutes before the party’s scheduled start time to set up.

I will bring table covers, a trash can and provide all art supplies.

I will need to use your sink (or source of water) to fill and clean out our water containers.

I will need approximately 30 minutes after the party’s scheduled end time to clean up.

Scheduled Party Time

I will start and end the painting party on time, according to our agreed to schedule.

Painting parties take approximately 3 hours.

  • 30 minutes to set up

  • 2 hours for the painting lesson

  • 30 minutes to clean up

If your guests need extra time, you can add on 30 minutes to the painting lesson (making the lesson 2.5 hours) for an additional $20. This can be paid in cash at the end of the party.

Regarding Food At Painting Party

Although painting parties are definitely a BYOB kind of experience…

…in most cases, there is simply not enough room at the table for all painting supplies and plates of food.

Even if there is, eating during the painting lesson significantly slows the group down.

If you want your guests to eat while they paint, let me know. You’ll need to add $35 to the booking fee and I’ll then be prepared to stay up to an hour longer.

An ideal time for you and your guests to eat, drink and mingle is 30-60 minutes before our painting lesson starts, in a different room.

Guests - No Shows

Failure to attend a painting party without notice will result in the loss of fees paid.

Exceptions for verified medical emergencies.

Guests - Withdrawal From A Painting Party

Written notice (to Kim McCullough) is required to withdraw from a painting party.

A credit will automatically issued to those who withdraw from a painting party, valid for one year past the original painting party date.

Exceptions for verified medical emergencies.

Hosts - Cancellation Of A Painting Party For Any Reason

No refunds will be given for the cancellation of a painting party - for any reason - including but not limited to change of plans, inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances.

A credit will automatically be issued to all registered participants in the event of a party cancellation, valid for one year past the canceled date.
