Community Partnerships That Make A Difference

Funny Name. Serious Rewards.

SKJAJA helps level the playing field so all kids can experience the joys and benefits of enrichment activities and unleash their full potential. Through a combination of funding for extracurricular activities, meaningful service-learning projects, community connection and leadership development opportunities, SKJAJA aims to close the opportunity gap for students grades K-12 in Chapel Hill-Carrboro, NC.

Artzhub is a proud partner of this amazing organization. Skjaja has provided scholarships for children to attend after school art classes, summer camps and now teacher work day camps.

Angie Marino - Writing Wonders

Educator and Author - Angie earned her Bachelor of Education degree at DePaul University in 2000. Her years of experience as a dual language elementary school teacher and her love of language have provided her with a vast array of valuable skills to design unique Writing and Spanish Camps.

Before the pandemic, Angie and I offered in-person art & writing camps together from 2014-2020.

From April-August 2020, she provided free writing prompts and activities for kids ages 5-11 and I made them accessible here on my website, along with my own free craft project videos.

She now offers very popular and enormously effective monthly virtual writing classes which work well for her family and her schedule.
