ArtzHub After School Art Payment Policies

Unless otherwise noted, there are four 8-week sessions of after school art from September to May. Participants may register for one or more sessions at a time. Partial/Pro-rated sessions may be available, after a session has already begun, pending availability.

Behavioral Policies/ Expectations

FORMS OF ACCEPTED PAYMENT

ArtzHub Website Payments - a transaction fee of almost 3% will be added at check out. Transaction fees go directly to our secure online payment processor, Stripe, and are non-refundable. ArtzHub receives the amount advertised.

Zelle Payments - if you choose this alternative payment method you must add 1% to cover the transaction fee Zelle collects from payments made to ArtzHub using their services.

Check Payments - if you would like to avoid transaction fees all together and pay by check you are welcome to.

1.) Email Kim at ArtzHubNC@gmail.com to check availability, register and make arrangements for payment.

2.) Make your check payable to ArtzHub and mail it to 916 East Street, PO Box 108, Pittsboro, NC 27312.

PAYMENT POLICIES

Payment in full is due at the time of registration for the 1st session your child joins.

$50 of each $170 payment is a non-refundable deposit.

You may reserve your child's seat in additional sessions with a $50 non-refundable deposit per child, per session.

The $120 balance will be due per child, per session before the start date of each reserved session.

Deposits

Deposits may be combined and/or are transferable to other sessions of after school art.

Deposits may be used by a different child in the same after school art class.

Deposits are non-refundable.

Unused deposits expire annually on May 30.

Trial Classes/ Late Joiners/ Pro-Rated Sessions

Pending availability - new students may join us at any time.

No Shows

Failure to attend a class without notice will result in the loss of fees paid. Exceptions for verified medical emergencies are at the sole discretion of Kim McCullough.

Credit for Missed Classes

A credit is guaranteed only for classes missed due to a verified medical emergency. No exceptions.

Credit requests must be in submitted in writing and are granted at the sole discretion of Kim McCullough. 

Credits will expire one year past the date of issue.

No credit will be issued for classes missed due to inappropriate behavior.

Cancellation of an After School Art Class Due to Insufficient Enrollment

ArtzHub will provide at least 48 hours notice of a class cancellation in the event of insufficient enrollment.

You may choose a full credit or a full refund, less transaction fees paid.

The credit may be used for any ArtzHub service you like and is valid for 1 year past the date of cancellation.

Cancellation of a Class Due School Closings/ Unforeseen Circumstances Beyond Our Control

In the event of school closings due to circumstances beyond our control such as inclement weather, anticipated or actual hazardous conditions as well school closings due to power outtages, water main breaks, protests, etc. - ArtzHub After School Art Classes, unfortunately, must be cancelled. 

No refunds will be granted for cancellations due to school closings.

When possible, Kim McCullough will offer a virtual art class via zoom to make up the missed class.

If a virtual art class is not possible (due to power and internet outtages) and/or your child does not participate in the virtual art class - a pre-recorded art lesson video will be sent to you on Saturday morning of the same week so that your child can make up the missed class.

Withdrawal BEFORE OR AFTER Classes Begin

A full refund (less transaction fees) is only guaranteed when a student withdraws due to a verified medical emergency. No exceptions.

All requests for withdrawal must be submitted in writing directly to Kim McCullough. 

You’ll have two options.

1.) Credit (less the $50 non-refundable deposit and less transaction fees) will be offered for use in any ArtzHub service offered.

  • Credits expire one year past the date of issue.

2.) Partial Refund of 50% of unused class fees paid (less the $50 non-refundable deposit and less transaction fees) will be issued.

No credit or refund will be issued for dismissal due to inappropriate behavior. 

Late Pick Up After Class

Children must be picked up after class on time. You must text your child’s after school art teacher if you will be late and provide an ETA.

A late fee of $1 per minute you are late picking up your child will be charged.

  • FPG - the class ends at 3:50. Pick up is at 3:55.

  • NES - the class ends at 3:45. Pick up is at 3:50.

  • MSE - the class ends at 3:45. Pick up is at 3:50.

  • EHES - the class ends at 3:50. Pick up is at 3:55.

  • EES - the class ends at 3:45. Pick up is at 3:50.

  • RES - the class ends at 3:45. Pick up is at 3:50.

  • MGE - the class ends at 3:45. Pick up is at 3:50.

  • GES - the class ends at 3:50. Pick up is at 3:55.

  • MES - the class ends at 3:45. Pick up is at 3:50.
